Adult programs include: Electricity - 1200 Hour Program / Electrician - 1500 Hour Program

High School program: Electricity - 8 credits

The Electricity program prepares students for employment or advanced training in a variety of construction electrical industries. This program focuses on broad, transferable skills, stresses the understanding of all aspects of the electricity industry, and demonstrates such elements of the industry as planning, management, finance, technical and production skills, underlying principles of technology, labor issues, community issues, and health, safety, and environmental issues.

The Contren Learning Series curriculum used in this program prepares students for valuable industry certification from the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). Training accomplishments are documented through NCCER’s national registry.

Employment Opportunities
Electricity is one of the most demanding and profitable areas of the building trades. Electricians are utilized in virtually every phase of industry.
