The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act or Clery Act, is a federal statute requiring all colleges and universities that participate in federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about crime on and near their respective campuses.

The Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act (DFSCA) of 1989 – also known as the Drug-Free Schools and Campuses Act – requires institutions of higher education to establish policies that address unlawful possession, use, or distribution of alcohol and illicit drugs.

FERPA is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records.

School Improvement Plans shall be designed to achieve the State education priorities pursuant to section 1000.03(5), Florida Statutes (2020), and student performance in section 1001.42(18)(a-g), Florida Statutes (2020).
