Electrician Apprenticeship Program

Electrician - APPR
Apprenticeship Program

Our Electrician Apprenticeship Program is a 4-year, 8000-hour accredited apprenticeship program that provides a combination of on the job training (OJT) and related training instruction (RTI).  The RTI classroom segment has face-to-face classes every Thursday from 5:30-9:00 p.m.  The program provides the individual with a comprehensive structured program of study, based on the Mike Holt Electrical Training Apprenticeship Curriculum, a curriculum that is focused on the National Electrical Code and Construction Safety.  It is covered in a manner that is relevant to today’s apprentices.  This program will prepare them for the jobsite and to take their journeyman exam.  Upon completion of the apprenticeship program, apprentices are awarded an Apprenticeship Completion Certificate from the Florida Department of Education, Division of Workforce Development.  These credentials are recognized and respected by the federal, state and relevant industries.
